The discussion started some years ago with the perception that we need to reduce, as fast as possible, the consumption of paper in our offices, mainly due to environment and sustainability reasons related to the massive tree felling.

The first and easy solution on our minds and hands is stop printing in paper and wood-based materials, shifting to digital contents. However, despite the fact that paper documents was already reduced substantially, we as human beings still need to activate one of our most developed senses, the sense of touch. Touching something where we have important information, valuable asset or simply because we need to have it available off-line and off-tech, are enough reasons to realize that we will still need some physical material to record information, memories and dreams!

I am sure that we are plenty of solutions to replace wood by another material that can be used for this purpose allowing us to continue recording on physical media without compromising environmental targets that we must achieve globally to protect our future generations, our legacy in this planet.
